I am spoiled

Today was my Birthday and I am the big 2-4!!! I know I know I am getting old:). I woke up to breakfast in bed. Kate and Nicholas had made me German Pancakes, my favorite. I then was told that I had an appointment at 12:30 and it was a surprise...So at about 12:10 Nicholas told me to go get in the car and follow the instructions on the GPS to where I was suppose to go...I was very excited and had no idea where I was headed. I got to the building and saw a skin care office and a dental office. I meant to walk into the skin care office but wasn't watching what I was doing and accidentally went into the dental office. I asked if I had an appointment and the ladies couldn't find me in there computer so finally I explained and they told me "oh hunny this is the dentist you do not want to be here" and she was right out I ran. So I found the skin care office and found out I was getting a European facial!!!! I was shocked, along time ago I had mentioned that I would love to get one and my wonderful husband is so good at stuff like this that he of course remembers. I swear he does better at romantic things than I do. It was awesome and I think I would say it is better than a message!!!! I would recommend it to anyone. My face feels so smooth and I might even say younger:). So then Nicholas and went to the Movie "Hancock". We had no idea what it was even about so at first we were a little surprised because it was about a superhero. But overall we liked it except for the excessive swearing. Our bishop's daughters watched our girls which worked out great. We have never left our girls with anyone but family so I was a little worried at first but knew the girls would love it. I have done activity days with both of them so my girls knew who they were, so Kate was very excited. We came home and both of them had barrettes in their hair and pony tails. It was hilarious because I know who's idea that was. Kate was in heaven and couldn't stop talking about how much fun they had. Then to top off the perfect day Nicholas and Kate made me the best chocolate cake ever. They also sprayed me with silly string and it made Savannah so scared she wouldn't stop crying and wouldn't let go of me, she was a little worried I was huurt I think poor babe. I am a very luck wife and mother and sometimes I can't quite figure out why I have the best little family. I don't mean to make this post any longer than it is or to brag but Nicholas is such an amazing person and I feel extremely blessed to have him as my husband and father of my kids. He makes me always want to be better and is always helping and serving us any way he knows how. Thank you for making my day special Nicholas, Kate and Savannah I will always remeber it!!!!!

A day at the Dentist

Yesterday we all had appointments to go to the Dentist. We wanted to get it done before we move. This was the second time Kate had gone and she did so great, I swear as she is getting older she gets more brave!!! She was cavity free and couldn't believe that she got a princess toothbrush even. Nicholas and I however were not as excited as Kate but are glad we won't have to go back, well at least me:), sorry Hun there is like getting cavities filled, not fun.

A fun 4th of July

We started our fourth off early and headed on the Rodeo trail. We went to Lewiston first where we also got to see the last part of the Parade, something that we will have to for sure attend next year. We then haded to Woodruff which was a perfect town for to spend our fourth, lets just say I think that Rodeo is the biggest event of the year there. The girls found a roster there and it was the highlight of the trip...My girls will find animals anywhere. we then came home and Nicholas cooked us dinner on the grill and yummy cookies. Then we had our second night of fireworks. Kate was more interested in the snakes and the smoke bombs, and Savannah was trying her hardest to pick up any firework that was lit, lets just say she might end up with a few burns in the near future. The girls then headed for bed and Nicholas went to the last Rodeo of the night. He didn't get home until 3 in the morning so we were glad we sat that one out. We won't know wthat we will do when we don't have Rodeos to go to on the 4th next year.

Swim lessons

Kate graduated from her level 1 swim lessons. She did such a great job and I was really surprised at how far she came in just two weeks. She does the best back float now. Her teacher was so good and very nice to her. Kate especially loved her long yellow hair. There was a little boy named Dennis who was really afraid of the water, and it really worried Kate. So after a while he got in and Kate yelled at Nicholas and I saying, "Yeah Mom and Dad Dennis did it." She is always such a nice sensitive little girl.

Our New House

We had thought we had a place all picked out to move into and then one thing after another it kept falling apart, so Nicholas and I headed to Yakima a week ago to find our new home. My Mom stayed with the girls so they wouldn't have to be in the car for 20 hours in two days. It was very weird not having to take care of kids while driving and Nicholas and I couldn't believe that we actually got to talk and talk and had no one interrupting us. We have not been apart from kids I think for almost 2years so it was a little strange but at the same time it was great to be with Nicholas who is always so much fun to be around and is continually making me laugh. He is the best husband and I am very lucky. We sure missed our girls but knew it would have been miserable for them to go. We found the best little house to rent. We are renting it from a lawyer who is building another house about an hour away. He helped us out so much and it will be perfect for our little family. It made Nicholas and I so excited to move. This whole time we have been looking for a house Kate has said she has wanted a purple house:). So we were glad to call and tell her that she was getting a purple/grey house. That night my Mom had said that she prayed for her new purple house. Our actual day we are moving is July 28th so it is really going fast. We still have lots to do before we go. We have been just enjoying the time we have had together and been staying very busy. I hope I can be better at blogging when we are all settled.

Lagoon

We went to Lagoon a couple of weeks ago and had such a blast. Hugh got us free tickets which made the trip even better. Kate loved, loved every ride and wanted to go on almost anything. She even went on Puff the Magic Dragon by herself!!! For anyone that doesn't know this is a little kid roller coaster that I remember being pretty scared of when I was even older than Kate. Nicholas kept trying to get me to go on some of the bigger rides, I did one and then I chickened out, maybe next time :). There is so much to see and do there, Savannah couldn't believe all the different things to look at. One of the rides Kate went on were the bumper cars and we were all laughing so hard because she couldn't figure out how to stop going in circles. She thought it was hilarious. We have been so lucky to get to do lots of fun things this summer. Now every time we drive by Lagoon Kate will tell us she wants to go again, and is continously talking about it, I can't believe something replaced the subject of Disneyland.
