Our not so sunny trip to Arizona

My girls and I got back from Arizona and it was so much fun. Other than bringing our bad weather with us it was perfect. We got to see the newest cousins who where both born in May, only 9 days apart. Tanner and Isabel are both the sweetest babies and it sure makes us want another..My girls had the best time playing and playing and more playing with their cousins. We finally on the last day got to go swimming which was very cold and fun. The pool was not heated so I spent most of the time in the hot tub. Kate however ventured out to the pool as long as she knew no one was going to dunk her. After we got back on the airplane Kate said "I am going to miss my cousins," Which I guess means we will have to visit again soon. I forget how much fun I have with my sisters. They are my best friends that I could do anything with and it would be a blast. Maybe one day we can all live a little closer, until then we will have to visit lots and continue to talk on the phone any chance we get...Thanks for having us we love and miss you already!!!!

I don't think there could be any cuter cousins then this!!!! My parents now have 7 grand kids and it doesn't look like it is going to stop anytime soon. Allyson is 6, Isaac 4, Kate 3, Austin 2, Savannah 1, Tanner 3 weeks and Isabel 10 days. How fun!!!

Kate love holding her new cousins. She would talk about Tanner and Isabel's hair being brown and having blue eys just like her. She also loved telling everyone that Tanner is a boy and Isabel is a girl.. She loved loved holding and kissing them. I think she is ready for a baby that will actually let her hold them without escaping out of her arms.

These cute kids had so much fun together and were constantly laughing.

I don't think this little Savannah could possibly get any funnier or cuter. She has the funniest personality. She loves being outside so if it wasn't raining Vanny was out their either driving the car or squealing at the dogs. She is too another animal lover who was in love with Rachel's dogs. The other picture is her is in Isabel's swing, which I think she thought it was her;s by the end of the trip. She would probably sit in that for at least 15 minutes at a time, and especially loved it when she had her binky or a requested bottle form her cousins Ally.

Three years gone too fast!!!

Yesterday Kate turned 3!!! We cannot believe we have a three year old. She got to have another fun day. WE had a picnic outside which she kept calling "pick your nose" We never could figure out how those two words are much alike but hey it kept me and Nicholas laughing. Nicholas brought her bike out to her while we were eating lunch and she was very very excited, and kept asking if it was her bike. She couldn't figure out the pedals at first and kept telling us "I just can't do it very good," She will get it with some more practice, she is already doing tons better today. I kinda forgot how much coordination it takes to ride a bike. Later in the day we went to a park and played on the play set. I know who will be my daredevil out of my girls and lets just say it won't be Kate. Savannah loved going on the slides and would climb on everything, but Kate on the other hand only really liked one slide and cried when she first had to do something new, but then she had warmed up. We are glad we get one of both... We got Ice cream after which always tastes so good on a hot day. Kate has been such an easy girl to raise. She is always wanting to do what us right and to follow the rules. She is the best big sister to Savannah and is always sharing and helping her. The other day Kate came up to me and said "I love you so much" and I told her that I loved her so much and then she replied "I am a nice, kind and happy girl" I told her that she was exactly right. I think that sums my big three year old up -A NICE KIND AND HAPPY GIRL-...Happy Birthday our baby Kate we love you!!!

Princess Parade

Kate had her Princess Party today but her brthday isn't till Monday the 19th. Every night Kate would ask when her party was and how many days it was away. I am sure she wondered if there really was going to even be a party!!! But sure enough the day arrived and about 5 minutes before everyone was suppose to show up I couldn't find Kate. I went outside and found her sitting at the table patiently waiting for her friends to arrive. She had been looking forward and talking about this day for about two month (since we decided we were going to do a princess party). She loved seeing what each girl was dressed up as. After someone would walk in she would say "oh my heck so in so is Cinderella or belle" It was hilarious. We had some super cute little girls who looked darling. They got to decorate wands, have a scavenger hunt, do a pinata, and of coarse eat cake. I had made the cake last night(which I am glad I did because it took a bit longer than I had thought) with the help of my wonderful husband, and there were a few touch and go moments (as Nicholas would call them) but the final product turned out great. Kate was thrilled to wake up and find that she actually had the anticipated Castle cake in touching distance. Most of the time before the party she was just standing in front of the cake saying "be very careful don't touch it". Even though it took awhile it was well worth my time when I saw how much she loved it. It was a perfect birthday and Kate had a blast..Thank you so much to everyone who came, especially Mallory who came up from Idaho...(thank you Megan for sending her those two sure love each other). Now we will have to find something else to occupy our many conversations, but I am sure we won't have any problems though.

Where's Savannah?????

Nicholas was making us breakfast when I had heard him yelling for me to get in to the Kitchen fast. He told me to find Savannah and I have to say I was shocked to find her not only in my cupboards but on the top shelf of them (It doesn't look too comfortable either). She is starting to climb on anything...I will have to always keep my eyes open for a little baby before I open or shut any doors :).

Our Little Ladybug is 1!!!

Savannah's first birthday was yesterday May 6th. We had a ladybug birthday party for her. We had our cousins over to celebrate with along with a special visitor Erin and her husband Jeff. Erin watched Kate for us one year ago when we went up to the hospital with Savannah. She is such a great friend and is always so thoughtful, my girls love her. Thank you Erin for coming and for the presents that you gave the girls they loved them!! Savannah loved eating her cupcake and was literally crawling over the table to get it, while we were singing happy birthday to her. She got a new swing which she didn't want to get out of. I cannot believe how fast her life has gone. We watched her birth video last night and it seems like that was just a couple of months ago definitely not a year. She has been such a fun baby that has kept us entertained. She is so determined and it has been fun to watch her learn and explore this year. We are excited for the future with her. Happy Birthday our sweet Savannah We love you!!!

Our Graduate

Nicholas had his graduation on Friday. He actually graduated in December but he walked on Friday. Kate kept asking where her dad was at and when she had finally spotted him she was waving and yelling his name that I think everyone knew where her Dad was at. We sure love him are so proud of his hard work and determination, he graduated with Honors which is pretty impressive. He is officially done with Weber State, now on to concur the next phase in life....medical school.

Swimming

We got to go swimming in our hotel on our trip. We all loved it. Kate especially liked the "hot pool" she called it and didn't like getting to far from it. Savannah was stiff as a board and didn't make a pep it was pretty funny because she wasn't quite sure what she thought of the water. We need to go swimming more because we always have so much fun!!

Yakima

We went to Yakima last weekend to see what kind of place we were going to move to. I had no idea what it was going to be like and let me tell you that from the things I was hearing i was kinda nervous about the town being scary. So I will just say that I was very impressed and am trilled to be moving there. I loved so many things about it so I wiil just share a few of them: First Yakima is know for growing fruit and I will just say that their is a big difference from the fruit there then here in Ogden. I will be excited to get to go to little fruit markets in the summer there. I also loved the weather it seems like it will always be kind mild in the winters and pretty warm in the summers kinda like Bosie weather. I also loved the ward we went to and the people were so welcoming and nice to us. You can tell that these wards are like family there because there is really not very many members, something that will be so nice especially where we ill be away from family. The only thing we are slightly nervous about is getting are car stolen yep that's right STOLEN. Yakima is the 7th in the NATION for car thefts. A couple of days before going to Yakima Nicholas had gotten hooked up with one of his cousins friends that lives there and was telling us that the only problem with Yakima is the car thief's, but that we shouldn't worry because they only steal Honda Accords. Nicholas starts laughing and told him that we have a Honda Accord. He had said that in one weekend 9 Honda accord had been stolen. WOW....I don't think we will have to worry about ours because they will think that a mexican has already stolen it (inside joke)!!! So other than that small detail we are very anxious to get to move and know that is where we are suppose to be.
